Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 2026

Skyrise Intelligence Limited is a market intelligence company registered in England (company number: 07581261) (“Skyrise”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We help businesses understand audiences, plan media, and run brand advertising campaigns online (for example, deciding where and when ads should appear and how well they performed).

We take privacy and the security of the information we use and share through our services seriously, including information collected from our website, http://www.skyri.se (the “Website”) seriously. This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) explains how we collect, use, share, and otherwise process Personal Information in connection with our services and when people interact with us, including via our Website.

In particular, this Notice explains how we process Personal Information (also known as “personal data”) in connection with: (i) our Website and business communications; and (ii) certain advertising delivery and measurement activities where we help set campaign settings (such as where and when ads run) and evaluate results.

For transparency, this Notice also describes certain data we use that we treat as non-personal. We treat this data as non-personal because it is provided to us in a way that does not allow us to identify individual people.

This Notice describes:

  • What types of personal information we collect and process;
  • Why and how we may collect and use that Personal Information;
  • Who we share your Personal Information and for what purposes; and
  • The rights you have in connection with the information we use.

This Notice may change from time to time so please check this Notice occasionally.

1. Introduction

This Notice applies to all interactions made by Skyrise. As a marketing intelligence platform, Skyrise will act as the data controller of much of the data we collect and make available through our Website. This means that Skyrise decides why and how your personal information is processed.

However, Skyrise does not act as data controller for all its processing activities and this Notice does not apply to the following:

  1. In cases where we receive personal information from a customer for augmentation and analysis and where we return that personal information to the customer. In this case, we act under the instructions of our customers and their privacy notice will apply.
  2. For any onward use of personal information by our customers. In particular, our customers may use our services for their lead generation activities, including their advertising and marketing strategies. We are not responsible for, nor have any input in, how our customers utilize personal information for their own purposes.

Please note that advertising is typically delivered through publishers, platforms and technology partners that process their own identifiers (e.g., cookies, device IDs, IP addresses) and consent signals. Those parties generally act as independent controllers for that processing and their own notices will apply to how they process Personal Information.

2. Personal Information We Collect

Personal Information” means any information that identifies or relates to you as an individual, either on its own or in combination with other information. It does not include data that has been aggregated or de-identified so that individuals are not reasonably identifiable

We collect personal information from you in the following ways:

Personal Information You Give To Us (Website and communications):

This is personal information you give to us when you:

  • Use the Website; and
  • Enter your information on our “Contact us” form.

This may include your name, work email address, phone number, company name, message content and any other information you choose to provide. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with the Website.

Personal Information We Collect About You (Website):

We may automatically collect information about your use of the Website, such as the number and duration of visits to the Website and details of which particular pages have been visited. We also collect information from behavioural insights, engagement patterns, and public interactions relevant to business-to-business sales (“Interaction Information”).

We also automatically collect technical information, including anonymous data collected by the hosting server for statistical purposes, the Internet protocol (“IP”) address used to connect your computer or device to the Internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform as well as cookie, tracking pixel and beacon identification information (“Technical Information”). For details, see section 9 (Cookies).

We use any collected Technical Information and Interaction Information to analyse how the Website is functioning and how it is used by users, for insight purposes, and to help us maintain and improve the Website on an ongoing basis.

We may process verification and ad measurement feeds for web, in-app or connected TV which may include device/log-level identifiers (“Measurement Feed Information”).

Non-personal data We Use to Create Insights (Services):

We also collect and use certain types of data to create insights which, we in turn use, to create insights for our customers as part of our Services. We treat these datasets as non-personal data because they are provided to us in aggregated or de-identified form and are not reasonably capable of identifying individuals. These include:

  • Telco-derived aggregated data – received from telecommunications providers in aggregated form with strict controls put in place to ensure that the re-identification by Skyrise is not possible.
  • Financial transaction data – received from a data partner in de-identified form, we receive data from partners relating to open banking and payments sources. This financial data is anonymised but not aggregated and does not include identifiers that are resolvable by Skyrise.

In the case of both telco data and financial data, we cannot resolve the data to named individuals. We describe these datasets here for transparency, even though they are not treated as Personal Information in our hands.

3. How And Why We Use Your Personal Information

The purposes for which we process Personal Information depend on how you interact with us.

Website and communications: We act as a controller for Personal Information processed through our Website, marketing communications and business administration.

Advertising activation and measurement (service-related processing): in cases where we enable advertising on behalf of our customers, we may act as a controller for determining key campaign parameters (e.g., context, geography, scheduling, weighting) and for evaluating campaign performance. In doing so, advertisements may be delivered to individuals who match certain audience characteristics, even where Skyrise does not receive the identifiers used by publishers/platforms to deliver ads.

Processing on customer instructions: In limited cases, we may process Personal Information strictly on a customer’s instructions (as a processor). In those cases, the customer is responsible for providing appropriate privacy information to individuals.

Lawful bases: Where we act as a controller, we rely on one or more of the following lawful bases depending on the activity: (i) consent (for certain cookies and marketing preferences); (ii) legitimate interests (for operating, securing and improving our Website; and for delivering and measuring brand advertising in a proportionate way); (iii) performance of a contract (to respond to enquiries or provide contracted services); and (iv) legal obligations (to meet applicable legal requirements and maintain compliance records).

In all other cases where we act as Controller, such as in respect of our Website, we process Personal Information for the following purposes:

Third Party Web Analytics Cookies

We may use third party web analytics services on this site, such as those of Google Analytics. The service providers that administer these services use technologies such as cookies, web server logs and web beacons to collect information (such as IP address) and use that information to help us analyse how visitors use the Website. Tracking & Performance Technologies

Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to a website. We may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like web beacons (sometimes called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs"). These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enable us to recognize when someone has visited our Website, or opened an email that we have sent them. This allows us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within our Website to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to our Websites from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve website performance, and to measure the success of e-mail marketing campaigns. In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will impair their functioning.

Email Tracking

Some of the emails we send to you may also contain pixel or tracked links which allows us to identify when you have opened the email and to verify which links contained in the email you have accessed. We use this information to determine which parts of our emails are of most interest to you as well as to more generally gauge how our subscribers engage with our email content.

You can delete the pixel by deleting the email. If you do not wish to download the pixel to your computer or other device, you can ensure this by selecting to receive emails from us in plain text rather than HTML, or not opening pictures in your email.

9. Automated Decision Making

We do not carry out automated decision-making (including profiling) that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects individuals. Advertising may be delivered using automated systems operated by publishers and advertising technology partners; however, Skyrise’s services are designed to produce aggregated insights and campaign parameters rather than to make decisions about individuals.

In relation to certain rights, we may ask you for information to confirm your identity and, where applicable, to help us to search for your personal information.
