Finding an Oasis Audience: Round Are Way
Stop Crying Your Heart Out—we’ve got some Supersonic insights into the Wonderwall that is Oasis fans.
After diving deep into the data, we analyse where the Oasis fans were that were trying for tickets from 30-31 Aug, who they are and the media they consume.
Some Might Say data is the key to understanding who fans truly are!

The data clearly shows a significant dominance of Oasis fans in the North of England, and unsurprisingly, with four shows planned at Manchester’s 80,000 capacity Heaton Park, Skyrise’s hometown Manchester came out top.

Skyrise data shows advertisers will find Oasis fans in towns and rural areas more than cities or suburbs. The highest ranking city is Manchester and when we drill down into postal districts we can see the top 3 highest ranking towns for fans keen to secure tickets for the Oasis Live 25 tour:

What was also interesting was that Scotland, Ireland and the West Midlands weren’t too interested in joining the ticket queues.
We’re left wondering whether Liam and Noel have missed a trick releasing additional Wembley dates when the data shows their fans are predominantly in the North?
I would like to leave this city…
We can see that when it comes to their movement during the week, Oasis fans mainly spend their time in shopping areas and in the pub at the weekends. Gigs and going to the cinema are also high up on the list of places they spend their time outside of the home.

Listen Up
When it comes to the media channel they favour, being music lovers it’s no surprise that Radio ranks top. You’ll find them listening to Radio X, Capital FM and TalkSport.

They might enjoy a lasagne
The data shows that Oasis fans love a home-cooked meal, with meal delivery services like Gousto and Hello Fresh ranking highly. They grocery shop at Tesco more often than any other brand. They also love brands like Adidas.
And they were obviously increasing their chances of getting tickets as sites like Livenation and Viagogo ranked high too over the dates the Live 25 tour went on sale.

She’s Electric
The highest ranking demographic is Females aged 18-24. Bearing in mind their debut album Definitely Maybe is now 30 years old, clearly new listeners are discovering the UK’s favourite brothers as Gen Z fans rank top.

Summary
UK Oasis fans are Northern females in their early twenties who love spending their time out shopping, socialising and cooking at home.
They opt for Radio over and above all other channels, in particular Radio X and after music publishers they engage with celeb and entertainment news sites.
